Poppy campaign volunteers- The campaign commences Friday, October 26th and ends on Sunday November 11th.
We distribute poppies at five locations: Chatham Superstore, Chatham Liquor Store, Walmart, Canadian Tire and Sobey’s in Douglastown. The scheduled times from Monday to Saturday are the same for all locations with each slot being 2 hours long. The first time slot starts at 10:00am and the last time slot ends at 8:00pm. Sundays will run just two shifts from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Those of you that wish to volunteer can contact Gerald by four ways: e-mail ggsnillum@hotmail.com , call at home at 773-9835 or on cell 627-9713 or drop into the legion between 10:00am and 2:00pm from Monday to Friday, with the first day being this upcoming Monday, 15th October.
Uniforms are not required but if you have a uniform, we would prefer that you wear it. Our aim is to distribute as many poppies as we can.
